Project Overview
Agriculture is at the heart of rural and Indigenous communities around the world. RISE works directly with farmers and community members to promote sustainable farming practices, build climate resilience, protect natural ecosystems, and ensure long-term food security. Through education, mentorship, and community-led programs, we help rural and Indigenous farmers adapt, thrive, and lead.
How Did This Come to Our Attention
Our team identified serious challenges facing Indigenous and rural farmers worldwide — from climate change and land degradation to limited resources and lack of policy representation. Through field research, community visits, and direct stakeholder engagement, RISE documented these urgent issues to ensure farmers’ voices are heard and acted upon.
What We Do in This Project
